Michigan Dental Woes Remind Us of the Importance of Regular Dental Visits

However, for those who don't have the benefit of our terrific dentist in North Hollywood, a trip to the dentist can seem a lot less appealing to some - a fact that can lead to serious repercussions. In fact, a new report finds that in preventable dental treatment is taking a substantial toll on emergency room budgets in Michigan.

The study, from the Anderson Economic Group found that in 2011, about 7,000 people with cavities, abscesses and other preventable dental issues showed up in Mich. ERs. About 1,000 of these even required hospitalization.

It's a reminder that maintaining regular dental check-ups can save a great deal of discomfort, time and money down the line.
